LOGISTICS & F.A.Q.
WHaT IS THE SCHEDULE?
This is a 4.5 hour adventure starting at 9:30. We'll meet at the boat launch where we'll load up and head out onto the water, and we'll surf for 4 hours until we head back to the dock at 2. You'll get a full, detailed schedule the week leading up to the event.
WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED?
Life vests and boards will be provided by our operating partners. Bring a small bag with water, snacks, sunscreen, and a towel. We will also send a full gear list prior to the event.
Do I need any previous experience or physical abilities?
Nope! This event is perfect for first timers, or those who want to sharpen their skills with support from a seasoned instructor. Getting up on the board is more about technique than strength, and our hired coaches have the formula to set you up for success.
How many people will be attending?
9 participants plus your ILLA host for 10 in total. This gives everyone about 20 minutes of surfing (if your legs hold out that long!) and the rest of the day to lounge on a comfy, sparkly new wake surf boat!
I'm coming from out of town - is there anywhere to camp?
Look into the Alpine Campsite for maintained sites with bathrooms and firepits or camp free on the shores of Palisades reservoir if you have a camper (no amenities).

Hi! I'm Tana Hoffman, the founder of ILLA, and I've also been lucky to be able to get out and surf a bit since moving to Wyoming! This isn't a formal clinic, but you will have the benefit of getting expert guidance in a fun, laid-back environment. The #1 goal of this day is to have a TON of fun, and I promise that you will!
